FABRICS

Knowing your fabrics is an important aid in helping you decide on what dress to buy.  Here are a few things you should consider:

Feel – are you looking for soft, silky, warm or sweat wicking?
Durability – which fabrics tend to bobble or age badly?
Care- expensive dry cleaning or machine washable?
Ironing – do you mind ironing or do prefer to pull something straight out of the dryer?

Fabrics vary in quality so although any two items of clothing may be labelled as the same type of fabric they may greatly vary in quality.  Use the below information as a general guide to different types of fabric and their characteristics but always check the label and follow all care instructions on clothing.
